BASE LINE STUDY & IMPACT ASSESSMENT
- Baseline Studies involve collecting and analyzing data around a particular issue, a situation before an intervention, or the implementation of the CSR program. The aim of a Baseline Study is to understand the ground-level situation and needs of those who the CSR project will serve. It also establishes a benchmark to measure the impact of the intervention or CSR program in the future. This is important because without a baseline, it is difficult to know whether the intervention or CSR program has had a positive or negative impact on the community.
- Baseline Studies are important for generating Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This helps measure the impact of a CSR program over time. Performance indicators are essential for tracking progress towards goals and objectives. They also identify areas for improvement.
- Baseline Studies help maximize SROI Social Return on Investment or SROI is a parameter that determines the right value received from the funds invested by organizations in their CSR. Geography Specific Need Assessment
In order to make relevant interventions in focused geography, it is Important to conduct a baseline assessment study. Baseline assessment helps us in understanding the present ground level situation and needs.
Customized and Impact Oriented interventions
Once the needs of community are assessed, it is easier to plan short, medium and long term interventions focused on community development maximum impact.
Our Baseline Assessment study is focused on assessing the needs of a community in the geography of focus. We initiate by just understanding the data available in the government records, any regional studies, etc. Once we have collated this data, we also perform our own on-group assessment focused on understanding demographic profile, socioeconomic status, existing government schemes, community feedback ,etc. Once the data is available, it becomes easier to assess the community needs and design interventions on the identified needs.
