Despite historical challenges, such as traditional gender bias and limited access to education and employment opportunities, there is a growing recognition of the need to empower women. In recent years, skill development and entrepreneurship have emerged as potent tools for women’s empowerment in India. By acquiring essential skills and knowledge, women have been able to enhance their employability and financial independence, thereby contributing to India’s economic growth. Entrepreneurship, in particular, offers women the opportunity to establish businesses, create job opportunities and break free from societal constraints, inspiring a wave of change.
Organization for Social Impact & Assessment (OSIA) Equipping women with the necessary skills and knowledge not only enhances their employability and increases their earning potential but also boosts their confidence and financial independence. When women have the opportunity to develop their skills, they become more confident and capable of making informed decisions about their lives. This newfound self-confidence can lead to higher participation in the workforce, greater social mobility and a stronger sense of agency, inspiring a brighter future.
